As you are likely aware, the COVID-19 Coronavirus strain is making its way around the world. 

We must all do our part not only to protect ourselves but to protect those in our community who are at risk, especially the elderly and those with respiratory problems who are the most susceptible. 

It is also important that we do this as a community of caring and educated individuals.

At Dr Albert Ng 2010 Eye Care Centre, we are taking steps to help prevent the spread of the virus to help protect our patients, staff and the community.

What we are doing

We have implemented heightened cleaning regimens including the frequent disinfection of frequently touched surfaces throughout the clinic. Our team is keeping up with updates from Health Canada to ensure that we are taking appropriate precautions as new information becomes available. 

Practical Procedures

There are some really good simple guidelines from the Government of Ontario for Self Quarantine if you are in the situation that you may be at risk.

What you can do if you are visiting our clinic:

If you are visiting our clinic, we ask that you help to keep the environment as safe and clean as possible for our other patients.

Upon arrival at our clinic, we ask you the screening questions and disinfect your hands by washing and/or by using hand sanitizer. Please repeat this process should you touch your eyes, nose or mouth. 

If you have an upcoming appointment and are feeling unwell... 

If you are scheduled for an eye exam and are feeling unwell with symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, sneezing or difficulty breathing or have been in close contact with someone with those symptoms, please refrain from attending any appointments or accompanying patients to their appointment here at Dr Albert Ng 2010 Eye Care Centre. Please call us at 416 297 0322 to reschedule your appointment.

If you are experiencing an ocular emergency AND are feeling unwell, please call us to inform of your symptoms prior to arrival at the clinic.

如果你正在診所內就診，為其他人著想，我們要求你盡可能保持環境清潔。
